Terms & Conditions
Banner and Bunting Hire
Our standard hire period is 5 days, usually Thursday to Monday inclusive. You will receive your items two days before your event date and return them to us two days after. Longer or shorter hire periods are available on request.
Delivery and Returns
You can collect items and drop off in person at our HQ at The Egg Factory, Hebden Bridge, HX7 8JX. Otherwise our standard charge is £20 one way for courier collection. We will arrange for the items to be collected from your chosen address (usually the event address) so someone will need to be around for the courier.
Our banners require a pole for hanging. We can supply this as part of your package for an extra £10, or you can buy some here.
Payment and Deposit
50% of the invoice total is payable to secure your booking. The remaining 50% should be paid 30 days before your event date. A £50 per item returnable damage bond will be added to your invoice and returned to you within 30 days of receipt of your items being returned to us undamaged. We expect to have to wash and iron bunting and banners after use but any other damage, rips, tears, stains or missing parts will be deducted from the returnable damage bond.
Use and Care
Full instructions for hanging banners and bunting will be included in the package. Our products are made to the highest quality and are made to last so with appropriate and reasonable use, damages should not occur. Please do not use staples, nails, drawing pins or any fastening which will make a hole or mark in the fabric or tapes. We recommend using removable hooks like this or this to hang your bunting and banners. Extra tape, string and invisible hanging wire will be provided in your package.
Our banners and bunting look fantastic outside, providing it doesn't rain! If you're planning to hang the items outside, please have an alternative indoor location in mind in case it does rain. If your items do get wet, please let us know as they will need to be completely dry before you return them to us. If your banner or bunting gets damaged, please let us know as soon as possible and please do not try to mend the item yourself!
While the banners and/or bunting is in your possession, it is solely your responsibility so please ensure it is used in a sensible and safe manner that poses no risk to others. We cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any damage caused as result of our hire arrangement. Please do not lend or sub-let and items to others during the hire period.
If we have note previously agreed a late return we will deduct a late return fee from your deposit at 25% per day late.
If you need to cancel you booking, please let us know as soon as possible. If the cancellation is outside one month of your event date, we will refund any monies paid, excluding the deposit. If cancellation is within one month of your event, we regret that no refund will be made.
The Amazing Badge Machine
All badge machine package quotes will be confirmed via email after your consultation.
We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the package price to secure your booking. Full payment of the balance is due 30 days before your event and we will send a reminder email as the date approaches to remind you the cancellation period is coming to an end.
Badge Machine bookings can be cancelled up to one month before your event, however we regret that we cannot refund any deposit.
Once the initial deposit has been received, we’ll send you proofs of all design work for approval.
Design work should be approved and confirmed no less than six weeks before the event.
